Job Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
* Manage the collection of finances and resolution of account queries.
* Conduct credit checks and maintain the company's credit policy.
* Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
* Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
* Regularly review the company's debt recovery procedures.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
* Proven experience in the Transport & Distribution industry.
* Strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures, including credit control.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in using financial software and creating financial reports.
