Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our messaging is consistent and aligns with our overall marketing objectives. It will be your responsibility to capture video, edit video, and enhance social media intake from building customer relationships. You must be able to use Facebook, Instagram, and other social media outlets. You will be targeted on growing the audience and keeping up with trends across our vehicle repair and mobile mechanic platform, as well as our sister company that repairs, maintains, and services caravans, boats, and motorhomes. A genuine interest in vehicles is preferred but not essential as long as you are a passionate person with a dynamic approach to growing with the company and helping the company to grow.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
2. Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including graphics, videos, and written posts. (You must be able to video edit to a high standard)
3. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
4. Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure cohesive messaging across all communications.
5. Analyse social media performance data to evaluate the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media management to keep our strategies innovative.
7. Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community engagement.
Experience
1. Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential.
2. Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media strategies.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
4. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
6. A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £24,830.00-£26,127.00 per year
