Job Description:
At our clinic in Whitstable, we're passionate about providing exceptional veterinary care. As a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care.
This is a varied and hands-on role that offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload. You'll be an integral part of our team, assisting in surgeries, supporting diagnostic procedures, and ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assist with all aspects of veterinary nursing, including anaesthesia, surgery assistance, and post-operative care.
* Inpatient Care: Provide exceptional care to hospitalized patients, ensuring comfort and administering medication as needed.
* Diagnostic Support: Work closely with our veterinary team to carry out diagnostic procedures, such as blood tests, imaging, and other medical assessments.
* Client Communication: Support clients with advice on pet care, nutrition, and post-operative procedures, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
* Clinical Operations: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, assist with stock control, and help with day-to-day clinic management.
* Team Collaboration: Be part of a close-knit, passionate team, working together to provide excellent care to our patients and ensure the clinic runs smoothly
Requirements:
You must be a qualified registered veterinary nurse with current RCVS registration.
