The Team
Our fraud team is one of our fastest-growing practices, covering a range of insurance and non-insurance fraud disputes, with an emphasis on motor, EL/PL and organised frauds. Our lawyers work closely with our intelligence analysts and understand the role of technology in fighting fraud.
We are looking to recruit Paralegal with relevant Fraud experience gained in a defendant firm who can demonstrate excellent knowledge of the litigation process and run their own case load of files.
Key responsibilities
1. Running a case load of motor fraud claims
2. Preparing court bundles
3. Drafting letters of instruction, requests, Instructions to Counsel
4. Preparing briefing notes, action plans, file notes and attendance notes
5. Reviewing reports and statements and other relevant documents
6. Drafting and reviewing documents
7. Liaising with and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism
8. Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices
9. Managing day to day deadlines with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills
11. Ensure files and spreadsheets are maintained and updated
12. Adhoc tasks as required
About You
You will be working within a team filled with legal professionals working in an engaging and friendly environment. You will be focussed on delivering a highly professional service to clients, including compliance with client SLAs and MI requirements. Previous experience of assisting or managing your own caseload is beneficial and experience of personal injury litigation would be desirable.
