Our growing tech/software client has created this new HR Director role as part of its continued expansion, having taken PE investment in recent years the company is now building their leadership team and focused on growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, the HRD will drive talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies, while embedding an innovative and performance-driven culture. This role is crucial in supporting the company's plans through strategic people leadership, focusing on employee engagement, compliance, total rewards, and implementing an ESG agenda. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced HR professional with a proven track record in high/fast-growth environments and experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, and organisational design. They will be a hands-on leader with an analytical mindset and a passion for building/developing diverse, high-performing teams. A strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to integrate people strategies with business goals is essential. We’re looking for someone in a similar role within a fast-growth business, ideally SME-sized, and ready to champion and shape the company culture. This role offers hybrid working, with 3 days on-site in Exeter. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Overseeing recruitment, retention, and career development initiatives. Managing employee relations and ensuring legal compliance. Leading the design and administration of competitive compensation programmes. Driving the development of ESG strategies and a culture of diversity and inclusion. Salary range is £70-80k (possible negotiation) and package includes a company bonus of c25%, potential equity, healthcare and life insurance (plus good pension, generous holiday etc)
