We are looking for a dynamic and organised Studio Manager to oversee daily operations, lead creative sessions, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage staff, coordinate events, and contribute to the studio’s ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations Management
* Oversee daily activities, including scheduling creative sessions, maintaining an organised workspace, and ensuring supplies are fully stocked.
* Monitor bookings, process payments, and ensure smooth business operations.
* Coordinate the setup and breakdown of activities for a seamless customer experience.
* Serve as the first point of contact, warmly welcoming customers and ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
* Assist visitors in selecting activities, explaining creative processes, and tailoring experiences to their needs.
* Lead hands-on workshops, providing clear instructions, demonstrations, and support.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment during sessions while addressing customer queries or concerns.
* Manage and support studio assistants and part-time staff, ensuring smooth collaboration.
* Oversee scheduling, provide training on activities, and maintain high service standards.
* Plan and manage private events, including birthday parties and special creative sessions.
* Liaise with customers to personalise experiences and oversee event execution.
Customer Feedback & Business Improvement
* Collect and respond to feedback to enhance services and creative offerings.
* Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the studio’s growth and reputation.
* Manage bookings, track inventory, maintain schedules, and ensure operational efficiency.

* Knowledge of art & craft techniques to assist customers and enhance workshops.
* Experience with marketing & social media to support promotional efforts.
* Background in retail or sales for managing art-related merchandise.
