Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship – Little Beans Nursery, Weymouth
The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Little Beans Nursery, Weymouth
Little Beans Weymouth is a purpose-built open plan nursery with a lovely large garden – we have enjoyed our journey of renovating, knocking down walls and creating a space that is in true Little Beans style. Every part of our setting has been designed with our little beans in mind, which includes big windows to let in as much natural light as possible; large open play space filled with natural resources; security cameras on our entrance door; bespoke toilets.
We are a small nurturing nursery with an absolute maximum of 28 children at a time. We pride ourselves on providing the highest standard of care to our little beans and enjoy great communications with our families. Our team are continuously training to improve their professional development and in turn they can be the best teachers possible to ensure the highest standard of learning is happening at Little beans Weymouth every single second.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
1. Supporting and safeguarding the children in your care
2. Building safe and secure relationships with the children
3. Supporting the key members of the team with all aspects of setting up the daily activities
4. Will support with toileting, nappy changing, food and snack times
Qualities Required;
5. To have a real passion and commitment to working in a childcare setting
6. Must be a good communicator as will be updating and communicating with parents and carers
7. To be caring and supportive
Requirements;
8. You must be able to gain a clear DBS
9. GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired
Hours;
10. Little Beans Nursery, Weymouth are open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year round
11. The successful candidate will be required to work between 30-35 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
