Position Description
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their team in Oldham or Todmorden. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with experience in private family law to handle a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing a caseload of private family law matters, including children, finances, and cohabitation disputes.
2. Confidently handling initial court appointments.
3. Engaging in business development to expand the firm’s family law practice.
4. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and local contacts.
The Ideal Candidate
1. 2-7 years PQE as a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive.
2. Experience in private family law (children, finances, cohabitation).
3. Willingness to participate in business development and networking.
4. Confidence in handling some initial court hearings is desirable.
5. Applications are particularly welcome from those based in or with contacts in Oldham, Saddleworth, Calder Valley, or Manchester.
