Duties and Responsibilities:
Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise surfaces and rooms.
Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
Properly handle and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, restrooms, and corridors.
Perform specialised cleaning in critical areas.
Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in public areas.
Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
Collaborate with cleaning and staff for a clean environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
