You will be joining at the start of a new chapter in MAN Financial Services' history (as part of the TRATON Group) and with the growth of electric vehicle funding, this is an excellent opportunity to work alongside our Business Improvement team to shape the way we do business, optimising systems and technologies to achieve the best outcomes, both in terms of our customers and processes." In this role you will: • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of Underwriters to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.• Assess credit applications for asset finance deals by thoroughly analysing financial statements, credit reports, and supporting documentation.• Ensure all credit decisions comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation to meet audit and compliance requirements.• Prepare detailed reports on credit performance, providing insights into risk exposure and emerging trends.• Monitor and analyse market trends to refine credit policies and identify new business opportunities.• Make credit decisions in alignment with both local and head office credit policies.• Interpret complex financial and commercial data to make informed credit decisions.• Provide training, guidance, and support to sales teams to enhance their understanding of credit policies and procedures.• Work with the Business Improvement team to review how we do business going forwards, improving systems and processes.
