This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic FP& A Senior Analyst to be responsible for annual planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics for the Group FP&A function. You will be key to providing partnering for the wider FP&A team while providing key analysis and insights to enable decision-making and strategic analysis.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
This role will help drive forward the development of forecasting and analysis across the group, ensuring best practice processes are implemented to deliver improved insight, accountability, understanding and buy-in across the leadership population.
What you'll be doing as an FP & A Senior Analyst
* Engaging with Business units FP&A, acting on ad-hoc projects with visibility to senior Finance leadership.
* Implementing analytical standards for planning & reporting and modelling KPIs and cost drivers to enhance understanding of the business is key to this role.
* Deliver and provide insight into the budgeting and formal forecast cycles, and understanding of cost drivers and outcomes.
* Delivery of high-quality reporting, analysis, and commentary on performance to assist decision-making and forecasting.
* Own and manage relationships with the wider finance and operational teams to understand drivers of monthly rolling forecasts, and business cost trends that will enable improvement of the forecasting process to support the achievement of targets.
* Embed accountability and responsibility for forecasting into the executive, leadership and the wider business.
* Understanding of P&L and cashflow performance and providing insights on overall position, including risks and opportunities.
* Develop and deliver change in financial forecasting and analysis, including systems upgrades and developments to achieve best practice analysis.
What should you bring to the role?
* Qualified accountant with in-depth experience in FP&A function with a proven track record in 'adding value’.
* Solid experience in financial planning, including scenario planning, cost driver development and analysis.
* Experience in coordinating rolling forecasts consolidation and risks/opportunities processes.
* The inquisitive mindset to provide review and challenge forecast submissions.
* Able to multi-task and prioritise own work and effectively deal with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
* Strong analytical, Excel (including financial modelling) and PowerPoint skills.
* Attention to detail whilst being able to see the broader picture.
* Solid communications experience – prepare concise presentations and support the drafting of papers that will be sent to the Group Executive level.
* Proactive and ambitious - sets high goals for self and continuously strives to improve.
* System experience with SAP and HFM is preferable.
