EC&I Engineer
Salary: Basic Circa £50,000 + Benefits
Location: Eggborough, East Yorkshire
An excellent opportunity has become available for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a large industrial manufacturer in the Eggborough, East Yorkshire area. The primary purpose of this position is to take responsibility for the automation, control, and electrical systems of the production plant. You will take ownership of the control systems, process instrumentation, support the LV & HV distribution, as well as play an important role in continuous improvement projects.
Skills required for an EC&I Engineer:
1. Possess an Electrical Qualification or completed an apprenticeship.
2. Worked within a Production or Manufacturing site previously.
3. Have experience of modifying, analysing, fault-finding and some programming experience of PLC’s. Working on Siemens PLC’s would be advantageous.
4. Experience of working on continuous improvement projects and taking a lead role.
5. Experience of fault-finding automated electro-mechanical servo motion and robotics, and machinery such as conveyor systems, robotics, packaging and labelling equipment.
6. Working knowledge of HMI software and SCADA systems.
