Job type: Full-time We have a vacancy for a Facilities Assistant to be based in our Bournemouth office. Key Responsibilities: Liaising with colleagues on a day to day basis regarding all matters relevant to the Facilities team. You will help manage the meeting rooms, monitoring stock levels, assisting with lifting/moving tables. Daily touch point cleans around the building. Dealing with courier bookings, bulk scanning, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing posts. Reception cover for colleagues during holidays/absences. Answering calls efficiently, transferring the caller swiftly to the intended recipient or PA within the correct office. Collecting precise information from an existing client (when a reference or name is not available) or a new prospective client in order to ascertain which department to place the call. Taking instructions from colleague’s regarding expected clients, visitors, taxi bookings etc. Skills and competence: We are looking for someone who is a team player, has effective verbal and written communication, has a tidy appearance, is efficient, discrete, confident and patient. You will need to have attention to detail, be polite, friendly and have a confident telephone manner with competency in using word, excel and outlook.
