Hays are delighted to be partnering with a professional services organisation based in Edinburgh City Centre who are looking to appoint an HR Business Partner on a 12-18 month fixed term contract basis.
Your new role
In this role you will assist in the provision of an effective and efficient HR management function, providing guidance and support to the wider HR team where required. As an HR Business Partner you will be responsible for two key divisions of the organisation. Duties will include managing all recruitment processes for key divisions, managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, leading on employee relations processes managing disciplinary, capability and grievance cases, managing the development of policies in line with legislative and organisation requirements and undertaking annual appraisals and salary reviews. You will play a key role in the senior HR team, undertaking management duties for the HR Advisors and HR Administrator and also deputising for the HR Director as appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced HR professional with a minimum of two years experience working at HR Business Partner level, preferably in the professional services sector. You will ideally have management experience and exposure to working with a busy team and dealing with conflicting priorities. CIPD or an equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
What you'll get in return
1. £50,000 - 60,000 dependent on experience
