Absolute Recruitment are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join one of their well-known established logistics clients based in Sandbach.
Our client is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic, or a vehicle mechanic with an interest in learning the same skills but within the HGV industry.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
1. Change HGV Tyres
2. Perform oil and filter replacements
3. Service all HGVs owned by the company
4. Carry out all maintenance work
5. Work under tight deadlines and carry out inspections on all incoming and outgoing work
You will be working within a small group and under the Mechanic manager to gain new skills and explore the experience you have from other work.
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, with potential weekend work when the business needs, paid at time and a half.
This role is an ongoing vacancy and is permanent for the right candidate with plenty of opportunities for the future.
