We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman with a strong background in joinery to lead and manage a team on a 12-month internal refurbishment project focused on residential housing in Flint. This is a freelance role with competitive daily pay and an excellent opportunity for a skilled foreman to take on a leadership role in a rewarding, hands-on project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and leading a team on various internal refurbishment tasks for housing projects.
Coordinating and managing site activities to ensure smooth and efficient project flow.
Conducting joinery work and supervising others in carpentry tasks as needed.
Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Maintaining health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Working Foreman, with a strong focus on joinery and carpentry.
Hands-on experience in residential refurbishment projects.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those related to residential properties.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or leading a team effectively.
Must have a valid CSCS card and own tools.Additional Information:
Freelance contract lasting 12 months.
Competitive daily rate of £240, paid weekly.
