Cover Supervisor – Full-Time (Ilford)

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on track with their work. You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, delivering lesson content provided by the teaching staff, and offering guidance to students where needed. While you will not be expected to plan lessons, your role will be essential in maintaining a positive learning environment.
This is a varied and rewarding position that requires someone who is confident in their ability to lead a classroom, patient in their approach to supporting different learning needs, and adaptable to working across a range of subjects and age groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain focused and on task
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
* Provide support and guidance to students as they complete their work

* Work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions
