SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Assists in providing great levels of customer service and the delivery of key departmental KPI’s by providing driver duties in a safe, compliant, courteous manner across the Rotrex Group and its clients. OVERVIEW OF ACCOUNTABILITIES Enhanced Customer Experience: o Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner during equipment collection and delivery to elevate their satisfaction levels. Timely Delivery: o Ensure punctual delivery and collection of equipment, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate customer demands and schedules. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: o Provide precise information regarding equipment condition, noting any damages or missing components, to facilitate smooth rental processes. Maintain Standards: o Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality, safety, health, and the environment. Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and compliant at all times. Prioritise Safety: o Uphold safety protocols, promptly reporting any incidents or near misses to the Workshop/Transport Manager. Operate vehicles safely and securely, ensuring proper load handling and restraint. Effective Collaboration: o Communicate effectively within the team and across departments to fulfil customer requirements promptly. Versatility: o When not engaged in driving duties, assist workshop colleagues with various tasks as needed, leveraging your skills and training. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Essential Clean Driving License: Possess a valid and clean driving license. Customer Service Experience: Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service. Attention to Detail: Maintain accuracy in tasks and communications. Health and Safety Efficiency: Efficient in implementing health and safety practices. Team Player: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Driving: 1 year (required) Desirable Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical principles. Towing Experience: Previous experience in towing operations.
