This role will help us to do this by supporting the delivery of an effective repairs service across Irwell Valley Homes’ assets. You will adopt all necessary health and safety practices and any relevant safe systems of work. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, systems and software related to Health and Safety at work. In this role, you will be responsible for · Supervision of trades colleagues to meet repairs targets, providing VfM striving for Right First-Time delivery · Providing on-site and remote support to trade colleagues and be the critical link between a trade operative and area manager · Delivering an excellent customer experience by understanding the different needs of our customers and tailoring your approach including complaint handling and feedback · Supporting the resolution of any trade operative matters as they arise, as well as supporting onboarding and mentoring of new colleagues · Ensuring the optimum level of use of trade operatives is maintained, through targeted upskilling and diary management We need people who are/ have · Experience of supervising and supporting trades colleagues in undertaking of repair works in customers’ homes · General building maintenance repair knowledge · IT literate including Microsoft Office 365 · Experience of undertaking a client facing role and involvement dealing with customer queries · Primary trade qualification – NVQ / C&G Level II minimum Please note a full valid driving licence and basic DBS check are required for this role.
