The Anglian Water @one Alliance is a totally collaborative organisation made up of nine partner companies (Anglian Water, SWECO, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, and Skanska) and an extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8, this will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we’ve ever delivered before. We’ll be embarking on a new kind of project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

What will you be doing as our new Performance Change Manager?
As our new Performance Change Manager, you’ll be responsible for business improvement and change project management support ensuring successful delivery of transformational projects. You’ll be tasked with ensuring that these projects are successfully transferred and embedded into the business. This will be supported by a Transformation Project PMO.
Working with the Performance and Change Manager, you’ll encourage improvement and enable delivery of Transformation Projects. You’ll ensure excellent levels of stakeholder engagement are realised, throughout the project delivery process, working with the Project Sponsor and our TAP Steering Group to make informed decisions, maximise opportunities, drive efficiency, minimise risk and increase the desire to improve.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Directly delivering, as Project and Change Manager, or supporting a wider project team to ascertain the actual problem, benchmarking the current cost to the business and deliver the required improvement on time, on budget and within quality and scope requirements.
2. Support the delivery of new capability that arise or are developed as part of our wider Business Strategy, processes, systems and technology.
3. Ensure Change Management focuses on the people side of change. It is essential that Change Management activities are integrated into the project plan.
4. Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications and training program requirements needed to embed change as well as conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness, identify and manage key stakeholders and risks.
5. Provide input for the production of any supporting documentation required to successfully deliver and embed the change, on occasion you may be asked to assist in the delivery of training modules.
6. Support, promote and participate in the delivery of our internal Change Academy Program to support or upskill others in delivering successful change.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours.
To be considered for this transformational position, you’ll have a solid understanding of how people view and adapt to change and the role you play in implementing new ways of working and thinking across a complex organisation. With experience of defining a campaign to successfully transfer a project/product to business as usual, you’ll have a track record of delivering digital change projects whilst successfully managing large stakeholder groups.
Highly competent in managing data and detailing this to less data-driven audiences, you’ll implement change management principles, methodologies and tools in a collaborative and engaging fashion. Not only will you be able to communicate your project vision and goals, you’ll actively listen to your customer base to deliver true value across the Alliance.
