This role requires an Internal Auditor who is fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with an emphasis on assessing and improving the company's financial and operational procedures within the property & construction industry. Description Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes. Conduct internal audits across various departments within the organisation. Prepare audit findings and recommendations for presentation to management. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards. Collaborate with team members in Birmingham, UK and Spain or Portugal Fluent communication in Spanish and/or Portuguese during audits within designated regions. Profile The successful Internal Auditor will have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fully qualified within accounting or internal auditing Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Proven experience coming from an internal or external auditing background Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
