Role Summary
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for booking travel across all areas of the FatFace business, including hotels, flights, trains, taxis, both nationally and internationally. They will ensure efficient and cost-effective travel arrangements that meet business needs while maintaining excellent attention to detail and service. The role is 16 hours per week, working Tuesday to Friday from 10am-2pm. Additionally, the Travel Coordinator will provide reception cover at our FatFace HQ when required.
Role Responsibilities
• Arrange and manage all business travel requirements, including flights, hotels, trains, and taxis, both domestically and internationally.
• Ensure all travel bookings align with company budgets and travel policies.
• Monitor travel plans and proactively resolve any issues, such as cancellations or rescheduling.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all bookings and expenses.
• Liaise with employees to understand their travel needs and preferences.
• Support in negotiating corporate rates with travel providers.
• Assist in general administrative tasks related to travel coordination.
• Provide reception cover at FatFace HQ when required, ensuring a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and handling incoming calls.
• Align self to companies social and environmental mission and champion any actions that you can directly impact at all times’
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a travel booking, administration, or coordination role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage last-minute changes and work efficiently under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
* Experience working within a retail or corporate travel environment is a plus.
