Job Title: Domiciliary Care Worker Hours: 40 Location: Howden Pay: £12.50 per hour The business: Our client specialises in the provision of large care packages specifically designed for those who need a high level of care supervised by highly qualified nurses and support staff. This includes brain and spinal injury, life limiting conditions and enduring neurological conditions. A Learning Disabilities team provides all levels of care in this specialist area, including the provision of Independent Supported Living services, respite services and home support, specialising in support for those who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and other complex conditions. Main duties of the job: · Assessing the needs of the client and creating a comprehensive care plan · Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming · Providing companionship and emotional support to clients · Preparing meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are taken into account · Assisting with mobility, including helping clients move around their homes and assisting with exercises or physical therapy routines · Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and cleaning · Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring health conditions · Facilitating transportation to and from appointments or social engagements · Communicating with family members, physicians, and other healthcare providers about client’s health status · Observing and reporting any changes in the client’s health or behaviour To be successful in applying for this role you will need: 2 years’ experience working as a care assistant 3 satisfactory references Enhanced DBS – adults & children
