We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Maintenance Lead to join the Maintenance team at a well-established company based in Hykeham, Lincoln. Our client is committed to excellence and is looking for a dependable individual to support their ongoing success.
Working under the Site Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site by maintaining machinery, managing waste, and keeping the grounds and buildings in top condition. This is a permanent position offering stability, development, and a range of attractive benefits.
What will I be expected to do?
Maintain grounds and buildings to a high standard.
Perform general labouring duties, including emptying swarf bins and general waste bins (internal and external).
Top up machines with coolant and oil as needed.
Conduct PH checks, sump, bund, and interceptor checks, and fire exit inspections.
Clean out machines and perform weekly stock control of oils.
Update paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Support the team with additional duties as required (e.g., covering holidays).
What skills do I need?
Essential: Forklift licence, UK driving licence, dependable and committed attitude, strong interpersonal skills (team player), willingness to follow procedures, diligent approach.
Desirable: Computer literacy, ability to work independently.
What hours will I be working?
This role operates on a 37-hour week with an A/B shift rotation:
A Shift - Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM – 1:35 PM, Friday 6:00 AM – 12:45 PM.
B Shift - Monday to Thursday 1:25 PM – 9:05 PM, Friday 12:35 PM – 7:00 PM.
Overtime is available when required.
How much will I be paid?
£23,555 to 26,041 per annum, depending on experience.
Additional shift premium: 20% for B Shift.
