This post involves working as a member of the College's Estates Maintenance Team on both planned and routine maintenance tasks throughout the College properties with an emphasis on general building fabric maintenance and repairs and external groundworks and paving.
You will assist in the preservation of both new and existing properties and structures and will be required to undertake regular inspections to ensure that the current high standard of repair is maintained throughout the Estate.
As an Estates Maintenance Technician, you may be required at times to assist in the oversight of sub-contractors ensuring that all contracted out works are undertaken in line with specifications provided to an acceptable standard. You will need to be physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
The role will involve assisting and supporting service delivery from the other in-house trades as required.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Trade related qualification or significant onsite experience.
2. Driving Licence is essential.
