Hours: 07:30am -5:30pm Mon -Thurs 07:30am - 4:30pm
Client: Established Commercial Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of a care home in Nottingham. This is a fantastic freelance opportunity with a well-respected commercial contractor, offering 60 weeks of work on an exciting and rewarding project.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of the care home build, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Leading weekly programme meetings to track progress and address challenges.
Managing and maintaining Health & Safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team.
Using IT systems to manage project documentation and reporting effectively.Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in managing care home construction projects.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and their application on-site.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of leading programme meetings with confidence.
IT literate and proficient in using project management tools and software.
A proactive leader who takes ownership of challenges and delivers results.Qualifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
First Aid Certificate.
