Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a permanent Business and Governance Administrator within Specialist Mental Health Acute Care and First Response.
The post holder will, facilitate, and advise in all aspects of governance, patient safety, quality improvement and assurance for Acute Care and First Response, ensuring that learning from incidents and complaints is shared and embedded across Specialist Mental Health First Response Services, which will include Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services, Crisis Line and inpatient services.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder is an integral member of Acute Care and First Response and will provide administrative and clerical support to advance the quality, governance and safety agenda in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements, local and national policy, guidance and improvement priorities
This includes, but is not limited to: -
1. Meeting scheduling and diary management
2. Minute taking and maintenance of action logs.
3. Agenda preparation, distribution, and management
4. Preparation of data collection tools (spreadsheets and databases)
5. Collection, input and analysis of data
6. Incident Review, meetings, dashboards and audits
7. Support with the preparation of reports, bulletins, and dashboards for departmental and trust wide review.

Qualifications
Essential
8. GCSE or equivalent grade C or above in maths and English.
9. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
10. Relevant business / administrative qualification or significant administrative experience
11. Evidence of good typing skills RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent
12. ECDL qualification or competence acquired from experience.
Desirable
13. Higher education qualification
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
14. Significant experience using the full range of MS Office
15. Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to time manage effectively.
16. Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
17. Articulate with excellent communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion

19. Experience in all or most of the key responsibility areas in the job description, including acting autonomously.
