There may be the option to cover annual leave for the weekday PA (subject to discussion). Applicants who can work alternate weekends will be considered.
Hourly pay rate:
weekdays £14.50 and weekends £16.50 Mileage rate 45p
I am looking for a support assistant to assist me with day-to-day activities, I am a woman with MS – which means that I become exhausted after minimal effort. My energy levels fluctuate hourly/daily and I experience weakness across my body which varies at different times and slight memory difficulties. I was a trained nurse and I enjoy voluntary work when I am able as well as singing and sailing.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Shopping
Transportation
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
I am unable to tolerate strong smells such as tobacco odours, hairspray and perfume and consideration must be given to this when preparing for work
Additional requirements
Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
