The Role
A part-time opportunity has arisen in the Operational Logistics department, which is at the heart of all fleet, equipment, supplies and water (hydrant) distribution, maintenance and procurement for the Service. It will include supporting our front-line personnel as well as other departments across the Service. This role is to work 25 hours per week, across five days, and is a permanent position.
As a Customer Support Administrator you will provide high quality administrative support to all functions of Operational Logistics. You will be involved in creating and maintaining vehicle, equipment and hydrant records using a variety of computer systems. Your responsibilities will include producing purchase orders and processing invoices to support the purchasing function for all Operational Logistics departments. This role will also involve reception duties including receiving post, telephone calls and visitors.
