Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Business Analyst in our Change & Transformation team in our UK Operations.
The Business Analyst will support the Change and Transformation Team by evaluating, designing, and implementing change across business operations and systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, business insight, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to drive improvements and support strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
* Process Improvement: Analyse and improve existing business processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Change Management: Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment.
* Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to aid in decision-making, identifying trends and providing insights to drive performance improvements.
* Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents, process maps, and user guides to communicate changes effectively among stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other departments, ensuring alignment of goals and clear communication.
* Testing and Validation: Coordinate with IT and business units to conduct thorough UAT testing and validation to ensure successful change implementation.
* Project Support: Assist in project planning, monitoring progress, and reporting status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
* 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry or related sectors.
* Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with project management software.
* Experience with change management principles and practices is a plus.
* Experience in process mapping and re-engineering.
* Excellent requirements elicitation and documenting skills.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Degree educated in related field.
* Professionally qualified (BCS Diploma in Business Analysis) or working towards.
* Self-organised and motivated.
