Position Overview We are looking for a Facilities Management Compliance Specialist to join our team and take the lead in managing and overseeing all compliance activities for this huge MoD site. Reporting directly into the site Project Director - this is a crucial role where you will be responsible for ensuring that our compliance standards are met across all site operations. You will also provide strategic advice and guidance on compliance-related matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Your Responsibilities Implement and monitor compliance across the site to ensure adherence to statutory and company regulations. Conduct self-audits and submit detailed reports to the Senior Management team Review technical reports from planned preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory, and technical inspections, ensuring all actions are recorded and tracked in the CAFM system. Prepare and implement action plans for any compliance gaps or issues identified through audits and inspections. Oversee the lifecycle management of plant and equipment, coordinating with the Lifecycle team to plan and execute replacements. Regularly update the 12-month PPM plan, making adjustments as needed to align with changes in site assets. Ensure all statutory and mandatory inspections are carried out in line with Skanska policies and legislative requirements. Act as the Fire Safety Officer, facilitating Fire Risk Assessments, tracking actions, and conducting annual reviews. Manage the site’s Asbestos Compliance, ensuring records are maintained and regularly reviewed. What You’ll Need to Succeed Proven experience in a similar role within an FM / Building Services environment. Previous experience managing Fire Safety and Asbestos Compliance. Familiarity with complex building systems Security Clearance: Ability to meet the requirements for SC level security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the contract.
