Based in Cheltenham, the company is split into 4 operating divisions:
* Capability Sustainment (CS): Covering multiple Through-life support & ILS disciplines, including digital support modelling, technical manuals, and safety & environmental management.
* Training: Providing a full-spectrum Systems Approach to Training capability and consultancy.
* Cyber Security and Information Assurance (CS&IA): Providing CS&IA Subject Matter Experts to deliver integrated risk-based consultancy and managed services.
* Technical, training and operational support: Supporting UK strategic capability, overseas and in the UK.

About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Business Development Lead to join our Supportability & ILS (Capability Sustainment) Business Unit. This role will support the MoD and Tier 1 defence primes, as well as major Tier 2 and 3 contractors.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and play an integral part in our aspirations for growth. Reporting to the Business Development Principal, your primary role will be to feed the Capability Sustainment Business Unit a flow of attractive and winnable opportunities, and develop the company’s offer.
Responsibilities
* Develop CS business in UK defence and security sectors, and adjacent markets.
* Meet or exceed agreed order intake targets.
* Provide market intelligence, strategic guidance, and sales forecasts.
* Reinforce long-term client relationships.
* Seek and build new client relationships.
* Support the CS Business Unit team in managing project delivery activity.
* Work with the Head of Marketing and Technical Leads to drive high-quality marketing materials.
* Represent the company at events and trade shows.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record in a sales role in a consultancy/professional services environment.
* Strong awareness of Asset Management Systems, Supportability in a military & security environment, and Integrated Product Support.
* Existing network of customers and industry players.
* Personal drive to grow a successful business.
* Ability to translate information technically and creatively.
* Team player committed to success.
* Bachelor’s degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
* High degree of commercial awareness.
* Hold or be capable of holding UKSV Security Clearance.
