2020 Recruitment are working with our engineering client who are looking to add a Machine Operator to their team in Newbridge. This is an initial 12 week contract through 2020 Recruitment before being made permanent after this probationary period. Please note that due to the location and shift times there is no public transport available and only those with own transport are encouraged to apply. Shifts Dayshift one week and backshift the next. Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday then 2:30pm to 11:00pm You will be responsible for the following: Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own. Operate saws and handle steel Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and cranes. Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers orders. Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements Requirements: To be considered for the Machine Operator role you must have the following: You will have experience in machinery operations with a proven track record in setting and recording performance and quality standards associated. Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. Fork-Lift and Side-loader is desirable but not essential. Health & Safety awareness.
