We are looking to strengthen our Operations team with a site-based Mechanical Fitter in the Severn Trent region You will report directly to the Mechanical Site Manager and your role will be to undertake the installation of package plants, pipe fitting and to assist with site integration. You will be joining an existing Mechanical team and will be required to travel across the Midlands region as required. Key responsibilities will include: Working to engineering drawings to a high level of accuracy to ensure components are installed and set out accurately. Working on screening machinery and equipment such as de-watering units and compactors, grit rakes and machined parts, scraper bridge assemblies, penstocks, valves, pipework & pumps. Working with a variety of materials (ductile, plastics, carbon steel) Working to company SHEQ standards at all times About You Essential Water / Wastewater industry experience Driving Licence Strong Problem solving skill Desirable NVQ2 / ONC or equivalent PASMA, EUSR Water Hygiene, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, MEWP - Training can also be provided for these.
