We are seeking an experienced Planning and Highway Solicitor to join our team at Service Care Solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and gain experience in the legal industry.
As a Planning and Highway Solicitor, you will be responsible for advising on legal matters related to highways, road safety, public rights of way, and transport infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on legal matters related to highways, road safety, public rights of way, and transport infrastructure projects.
* Draft, negotiate, and review Section 106 agreements (planning obligations), highways agreements, planning enforcement notices, and related legal documents.
* Handle disputes concerning planning permissions, development conditions, and highway encroachments.
* To take responsibility for the delivery of legal advice and support in the following legal specialisms; Town and Country Planning; Highway Law (including footpaths); and Compulsory Purchase.
* To deputise for the Head of Service, Principal Legal Officers and other Senior Legal Officers as appropriate.
