Job Description:
As the ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will be the Product Owner for the ServiceNow platform interfaces and integrations, including Virtual Agents, Portals, and Mobile Apps. This role goes beyond maintaining the status quo - it's about defining the integration strategy using Integration Hub and driving our DevOps team to uphold our client's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own the solution design and provide architectural mentorship for ServiceNow engagements.
2. Collaborate on enterprise transformation programmes to develop ServiceNow solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
3. Supervise technical debt and work towards its elimination through a strong partnership with ServiceNow.
4. Establish governance processes and policies for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance with internal standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in delivering large-scale technology transformation projects.
2. Solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform, particularly in data modelling and configuration. Certification in ServiceNow administration is highly desirable.
3. In-depth knowledge of data management principles, data modelling techniques, and data governance practices.
4. Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
5. Proficiency in data modelling concepts and relational databases.
6. Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
7. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Understanding of the wider IT infrastructure and its integration with ServiceNow.
9. Knowledge of Scrum (Agile) development process.
10. Understanding of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF 9+ and IT4IT.
11. Certified ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certifications.
12. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
13. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in relevant products.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a similar role is a prerequisite, preferably for a global organisation.
