We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of People to join our senior leadership team. This senior high profile role will lead a range of strategic and operational people functions, including transformation and service improvement, strategic and operational resourcing and people systems.
Critical to your success will be strong leadership, building credible and influential relationships and promoting collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have extensive experience of leading HR services with a track record of operational and strategic achievements, including the development of effective resourcing and retention strategies and innovative people interventions. You will demonstrate drive for performance and improvement, utilising digital solutions.

You will design and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies that support workforce transformation plans for the organisation and enable the recruitment, supply, retention and deployment of a highly skilled and competent workforce. You will interpret and anticipate national, regional and local policy to ensure alignment and the effective delivery of these strategies.
You will have direct accountability for recruitment and talent acquisition, HR administration, temporary staffing and rostering, ensuring these services have a continuous improvement approach, focused on delivering high quality, expert support and are cost efficient.
You will be the lead for people systems, providing expert advice and direction, and optimise opportunities for service improvement and efficiency through the utilisation of digital innovation and new technology.
You will have a lead role in the transformation of the People Directorate through the use of enhanced digital solutions and work closely with partners in the North West London Acute Provider Collaborative to build on collective strengths and mutual learning to deliver efficiencies and quality improvements across people services.
