Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Exeter or Bristol with hybrid working available Salary: £50-65k (Neg DOE), car/allowance and excellent benefits package Rate: £450-500 per day (inside IR35) Our Client: Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting eight long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances. The Role: You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to take responsibility for the Commercial Management of project(s) including a desalination plant. Responsibilities: Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages Liaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost Collaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are met Manage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment The preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts.
