Job Overview We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to assist children and families in Enfield. The role involves providing transportation to and from school, as well as offering in-home care and supervision for children while their parents are at work after school. Key Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from school, ensuring punctuality and well-being during the journey. Provide supervision and care for children at home after school, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Assist with basic daily activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and homework support as required. Engage children in fun and stimulating activities while maintaining a structured routine. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding the childs well-being and any concerns that may arise. Follow care plans and safeguarding policies to ensure the highest level of child protection. Maintain accurate records and reports of support provided. Requirements Experience working with children, ideally in a support worker or childcare role. A caring, patient, and empathetic nature with a passion for supporting children and families. A valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (essential for transportation support). An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
