Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated SEN / SEND Tutors to join our team in Dorset, working with young people who have Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable learners, providing one-to-one tutoring and mentoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions to meet the individual needs of each student
* Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
* Monitor progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student development
Requirements:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Proven track record of working with students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Safeguarding training and awareness
* Enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist with obtaining this if needed)
* Two professional references
* Able to work effectively in a child-centered environment
