Job Role: Lead Plant Engineer
Location: Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £32,000-£38,000 base (OTE £42,000+)
Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-17:00

The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and rapidly expanding plant hire firm based in Buckingham on their search for an experienced plant engineer/fitter to join their team. Our client, who have been established for over 30 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to add an experienced plant engineer to the team, who will then be tasked to grow the mobile team moving forward. The Package:
1. Salary between £32,000-£38,000 dependent on experience
2. Company van, fuel card, tablet & mobile phone provided
3. 28 days holiday including bank holidays

The Duties:
1. Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant machinery such as Excavators, Telehandlers, Mini-diggers, Dumpers, Rollers, powered access equipment, generators etc.
2. Hybrid role with both workshop and field-based work required - will become more mobile as you grow the team and business further.
3. Supervise, lead and grow the mobile team your way - progressing to supervisory/management position as the team grows.
4. Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
The Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries (essential)
2. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
3. Experience working with engines and batteries (essential)
4. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (essential)
5. A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
6. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
7. Full UK Drivers License
