Job Title: Service Technician
Location: Drift Bridge PDI Centre
About the Role: As a Service Technician at our Drift Bridge PDI Centre, you will be an integral part of our dynamic service team, ensuring that every vehicle receives the highest standard of care and maintenance. This role involves performing a range of technical tasks, from routine maintenance to complex repairs, while delivering exceptional customer service. Whether you're a recently qualified technician or looking to progress in your career, Drift Bridge Group provides an environment that fosters growth and excellence.
Hours: 45 hour week Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work Saturday Mornings (5 hours) in addition, on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine Maintenance: Perform routine tasks such as oil changes, tyre replacements, and brake inspections to ensure vehicles are in top condition.
* Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues using specialised diagnostic equipment and carry out repairs on engines, electrical systems, suspensions, and other vehicle components.
* Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts, including brakes, filters, belts, and hoses, ensuring all replacements meet manufacturer standards.
* Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining vehicle issues, and providing repair recommendations.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed, including repairs and maintenance activities.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and team members, sharing knowledge and ensuring efficient service delivery.
* Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through regular training and development opportunities.
