Role overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our construction and engineering team in Liverpool or Manchester. This appointment underlines the firm's ongoing commitment to investing in the best people to help support growth.
Leaders in their field, our dedicated team of construction and engineering lawyers have particular expertise in the transport, infrastructure, industrial, developer led residential schemes, oil and gas, healthcare, energy and renewable sectors.
The team are recognised experts for contentious and non-contentious work with an international client base which includes developers, funders, consultants, UK and European based contractors and sub-contractors. Such a depth of expertise means a unique spread of work covering multiple jurisdictions for both project and dispute work (including international arbitrations).
Key responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation of contracts, appointments, warranties, and related documents
* Working on adjudication submissions and supporting evidence
* Proof reading and drafting documents
* Drafting routine correspondence
* Legal research
* Client liaison
* Creating electronic bundles
* Generally assisting associates, senior associates and partners with their workload

* Knowledge/ experience of the construction industry and contract law
