Fabricator/Welder (TIG/MIG - Stainless Steel)
Location: Lasham
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join a leading manufacturer of large industrial stainless-steel heaters. Due to an expanding order book, they now have an opening for a time-served and highly skilled TIG-welder/fabricator, with a strong bias toward tube and pipework.
This role involves TIG & MIG welding with a MIG bias approach. You will predominately be tube welding so a background in this is highly desirable. You will be working on complex assemblies, ensuring precision and first-time accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Precision TIG and MIG welding (70% MIG welding).
2. Cutting, joining, and shaping metal using heat as well as hand and power tools.
3. Reading and understanding technical drawings and assembly instructions.
4. Tube and pipe welding in stainless steel (2mm - 6mm thickness).
5. Turntable & Orbital welding.
6. Accurate use of section rolls and plate rolls.
About You
1. Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator particularly with tube welding.
2. Technical training or certification in welding/fabrication is desired although time served will be considered.
3. Proficient in TIG and MIG welding with MIG bias.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work first-time correct.
6. Experience with hand and power tools as well as measuring equipment.
