We are looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter who is happy to work a 3 shift pattern (8 hours) after a perdio fo trainig ion days.
Your role will be to:
promote a 'Safety First' culture.
participate in departmental and site safety initiatives.
undertake all mechanical work as required.
work closely and in collaboration with the Mechanical Workshop Coordinator and the Workshop Leader.
liaise with the Shift Production Leader on production priorities.
comply with all Standard Working Practices (SWP's) and permits to work where appropriate.
monitor the Engineering Requests (ER's) and carry out appropriate tasks.
carry out plant checks as defined.
- when necessary, work planned shutdowns and be prepared to attend the work site out of normal working hours to address issues of safety, security or production equipment breakdowns.
comply with the company and engineering quality procedures.
comply with the Company's Code of Conduct. You will need:
a Mechanical Trade Apprenticeship
a Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering)
