You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insights from senior leadership, including the Commercial Director. You will also have the chance to work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, providing direct support.

Your Responsibilities
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Price variations / technical queries to contracted works
2. Liaise with delivery team regarding works executed
3. Analyse cost reports
4. Assist in producing final accounts
5. Negotiate and agree final accounts with Client
6. Compile cost-value reconciliations
7. Submit periodic valuations
8. Assessing sub-contractors claims
9. Contribute to monthly commercial meetings
10. Submit periodic applications for payment
11. Assist with and help produce commercial reports for the Board of Directors
12. Assist with all change control processes
13. Work with supply chain for procurement of suppliers and S/C
14. Assist with tenders
15. Comply with and promote the company safety policy
16. Any other duties may reasonably be required
Essential
1. HND/HNC
2. Strong IT Skills, especially with Microsoft packages and easily able to learn to use new software
3. Ability to manage a fast-paced environment, with a high-volume workload
4. High accuracy and attention to detail
5. Strong Numeracy skills
6. Ability to work methodically, using own initiative and unsupervised
Desirable
1. Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
2. Experience in a similar role, within a contracting environment
