Job summary Come and join our very friendly Dietetic team in beautiful Wiltshire. A great opportunity has arisen for a full time (37.5hrs/week) newly qualified or experienced Dietitian to join our team of 26 Dietitians and support staff. This position is in the Adult Community Dietetic Team which manages a varied caseload, with strong clinical supervision, and opportunity for involvement in projects. We also have specialities such as paediatrics, diabetes, home enteral feeding and neurology within our department, providing opportunity to gain insight in a variety of clinical areas. We work from 2 main office bases, one in the north (Chippenham) and one in the south (Salisbury/Wilton) of the county, as well as easy access to desk spaces in other locations around the county. We have excellent administrative support and regular CPD opportunities. This Band 5 Community Dietitian post will provide clinical support to adult patients in Main duties of the job To provide a service to inpatients, outpatients, groups and to patients in their own homes appropriate to experience and guidance from senior dietitians. Service provision can be based working from home, with the flexibility to use team office bases at Chippenham and Wilton. Within the team, face to face clinics and inpatient cover is provided in community hospitals and community health centres, including Chippenham, Wilton, Salisbury, Amesbury, Warminster, Melksham, Trowbridge, Devizes, and Savernake. To provide training and education on nutrition, nutrition screening and diet to nurses, other health professionals and patients.
