Sales Manager - Northern Europe
* £60,000 - £80,000 + Bonus (£5k - £20k) + PRP + Car Allowance (£5k)
* Hybrid (office once/week) - Gloucestershire, UK

We are working with an established manufacturer of high-performance motion control technology based in Gloucestershire, UK. They are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their team.
The Sales Manager - Northern Europe position is a customer-facing role that requires a high level of customer contact with their distribution partners in the UK & Northern Europe. As such, the role requires frequent travel inside & outside of the UK.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Promoting sales of Client's motion products by the expansion and improvement of a network of distributors and establishing direct OEM customers:
* Improving communications and commercial processes with existing distributors
* Developing additional distributors for Client's products
* Developing new 'Solutions Partners'
1. Managing a customer acquisition pipeline, directly or indirectly (e.g. via our distributors) from prospect identification through to customer capture cycle:
* Prospecting
* Supporting customers in identifying suitable solutions to solve their pain points
* Working with the technical departments to ensure smooth integration of our products into the customers' needs in terms of performance and project timing
* Closing out sales
2. Managing commercial and marketing activities:
* Report on sales growth and forecasting sales growth on a regular business cycle
* Implementing the commercial policy in line with the company's guidelines
* Manage price within our Delegation of Authority (DOA)
* Provide feedback on market fluctuations, customer needs and competitive actions
* Support the preparation and actively participate in trade fairs and distributor conferences
Travel Requirements:
The role is largely based at their Tewkesbury offices but frequent travel should be expected within Europe.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in customer-facing positions preferably selling industrial automation components or equipment to OEM & Distributors
* Good technical knowledge
* Variable speed, stepper or servo drive experience would be an advantage
* A relevant qualification would be desirable
* Knowledge and use of CRM tools
* Full UK driving license and a valid passport
