Job Purpose
Your role as HR Advisor will be to solve the HR-related queries of our employees and leaders and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience.
Job description:
1. Own people’s inquiries about HR policies and procedures, understand their needs, investigate options, seek solutions, and partner with other HR colleagues to resolve the inquiries.
2. Work in close connection with our warehouse site managers to support with benefits, policies & procedures, advising and supporting employees during various workplace-related concerns and allegations, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment, and appropriately resolving misconduct.
3. Actively work in Workday (our HR management system) and Service Now.
4. Guide and train employees and managers in the new HR systems and service delivery model.
5. Support the delivery of the HR Cycle with administrative tasks related to onboarding, annual performance management, job moves, exit, etc.
6. Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of various HR-related documents. Key documentation review responsibilities could include Employee Records, HR Policies & Procedures, Compliance Auditing, and Benefits & Compensation. Mitigate potential legal and compliance risks through diligent review and maintenance of documentation.
Person responsibilities:
We need you to be passionate about delivering great employee experience! You have a lot of empathy and drive to take care of every employee’s query.
As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
1. In-depth knowledge of UK labour laws as well as a strong foundation and understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal compliance requirements.
2. Experience in resolving employee relations issues.
3. Great collaboration and communication skills.
4. Fluency in written and verbal English.
5. Experience in Workday or other HRIS would be an asset.
