Relief Kitchen Assistant (0hrs)
Macklin Care Homes are currently recruiting Relief Kitchen Assistants to join their friendly, caring, and progressive Park Manor Oaks Nursing Home. This is a vital role within the Home, assisting the kitchen team to deliver top quality, nutritious and delicious meals to much loved residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Cook with preparation and serving meals, while maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
2. Work within the Housekeeping and Laundry as and when required.
Ideal candidate:
* Must have a good command of written and spoken English and a valid work permit
* Ability to communicate with the elderly
* Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organization
* Good General Health (medically fit)
* Previous experience in a similar position
